Sooke Fishing Report — Hindsight Fishing Charters

Fishing at Sheringham has being outstanding. The Trap is good also, but that size limit sucks, but great for catch and release. I did get a hatchery one around 25 lbs at the Shack yesterday afternoon only out for an hour we still released it. This season is starting to look very positive for Chinook. See you on the water.

Fishing in Sooke is great at this time with lots of feeder Chinook around. Most that we are getting are in front of Sooke Harbour House in about 140 feet. Bounce bottom with a purple haze squirt behind a purple haze flasher or Red Gold Hot spot with a gold coyote spoon. These fish are of quality size with most being around 8 to 10 lbs. Of course you get a few in the teens, but not every day. Lots of these fish are hatchery fish which is great.
